With the Safety Package, we protect you against the financial consequences even in the event of an accident caused by gross negligence (for example, driving through a red light or distraction by passengers).
After a serious accident, we cover the costs of psychological counselling (up to a value of CHF 1,500) and a driving safety course or driving lessons (up to a value of CHF 500) so that you regain a sense of safety and confidence on the road.
In addition, key replacement and lock change costs are covered in the event of loss, theft or damage to the vehicle keys (up to a value of CHF 5,000).
We provide assistance in the event of breakdowns, accidents, theft or natural hazards with our roadside breakdown service and vehicle recovery service, as well as arranging and paying for the trip home for all occupants of the vehicle, accommodation if required and return transport of the unroadworthy vehicle.
The SOS Breakdown Service additional cover applies throughout Europe and in the countries bordering the Mediterranean, excluding Kosovo, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
The driver and passengers are insured when using the vehicle in the event of an accident as defined in the Swiss Federal Law on Accident Insurance (UVG).
